How can I incorporate an actual baseball into a wedding centerpiece?

I have looked all over the internet and can not find anything! I'm thinking simple. A vase that I could somehow have a baseball in it? The reception will be a baseball theme with gerber daisies as the flowers. Thanks for your help!|||how about these? http://www.fundeliver.com/hobby-sport-we鈥?/a>

They are custom sculpted mini figurines made from your photo to resemble you. Your hobbies, interests and personalities can all be reflected by these.

I ordered one for my wedding as cake topper. My fiance is a huge Philadelphia fan, so I add three props, a basketball, a hockey puck and a football. They look so cute. Hope these can help.|||In the vases instead of having lemons or marbles like most do in the water, have baseballs instead. If you could find small ones that would be really cute. Maybe you can find some that have you and your fiance's initials or names on it. I think golf balls are cute as well.|||hollow out the baseballs %26amp; stack 2-4 together. = vase

slide a real vase inside hollowed out part %26amp; put in flowers|||Hi and congratulations!

I, too, love baseball. I am not sure how to incorporate a real baseball into a vase with flowers. Obviously, the only way you could do this would be to have silk flowers. The baseball would get all soggy if you were to stuff it into a vase and then fill with water.

Have you thought, perhaps, of adding a different element other than baseballs? What about little miniature wooden bats criss-crossed in the center of the table with the daisy "heads" on top of them.

OR...incorporate these little mini baseball helmets somehow:

Or what about a baseball table runner or overlay sitting under the gerber daisy centerpiece? Maybe looking like a baseball, or make of fabric that had baseballs printed on it.

You might get some tiny baseballs (from keychains or wherever) and glue each of them onto the end of a floral stick. They could be randomly placed in the arrangement with the daises.

Or have a white overlay with baseball stitching in a random pattern on the overlay. Here are directions on how to make a baseball stitch. http://www.blisstree.com/articles/stitch鈥?/a>

If you want a bit more elegant, and will have other baseball items around the room, what about a white tablecloth and napkins, and have some red ribbon weaving randomly around the table? Even though it wouldn't be a baseball, everyone would realize it was beause of the colors of the baseball.

(Are you doing a blog of your wedding plans? I'd be facinated to see how you handle this. Sounds fun!)

Also try www.orientaltradingcompany.com and search for baseball. You might find something useful.

If that's too juvenile, what about http://www.orientaltrading.com/ui/browse鈥?/a> baseball napkins under the drinks? http://www.orientaltrading.com/ui/browse鈥?/a>|||Ah americans.when are you going to realise that baseball is the retarded mans cricket?why is it called the world series if only american teams take part and how come you guys cant play sports that the rest of the world play like cricket, rugby and football.american football sucks too,who puts the offence and defence on the field at seperate times throughout the match?
