Can someone give me a good baseball workout during the winter?

Baseball tryouts are in march, and I want to be ready but there is already snow on the ground and will probably be until then. I really need a good way to play baseball somehow during the winter, because the team's really gonna need me, its freshman ball so if that helps. Please any ideas are appreciated.|||If you or ur parents have the money, look into the P90X. I'm a college ballplayer and we live by it. It's alot about overall core strength which is exactly what you need for baseball. Any coach will keep a great athlete, especially at the freshman level, because you can't gain the baseball skills you need w/o playing so getting in shape is the best you can do for now.

Definitely do the shoulder exercises mentioned above w/ the rubber tubing or theraband. But trust me, you can overpower the game with athleticism over skill until you get to D1 level ball so that would be a great start. You'll have the time to develop the finer points as you go through the season. Best of luck and go get em...|||Must read: Ultimate Guide to Weight Training for Baseball. Perfect offseason weight training book that does not focus on bulking up but rather true conditioning of the muscle categories needed for baseball.

Another very good book: Complete Conditioning for Baseball. Very good, but some tasks cannot be preformed during the winter.|||Get Tom Houses book fit to pitch. Colleges use it. Tom House is great. I would stay away from someone like dick mills.

Also look up the doctor Job shoulder excersiezes. Buy an chord of elastic tubing and do rotator cuff excersizes.|||Bang as many girls as you can! Love is the best cardio workout.
