How to get a baseball autographed in the mail?

I want to get a baseball autographed by my favorite players, preferably from the Red Sox. I need info on how to do this process. THANKS.|||The best chance you would have would be to go to the game. Most teams sign balls before the game starts. If you sit behind their dugout you might be able to get them to sign after warm-ups. The only other way would be to send the baseball via the mail to your fav. player c/o their team (I.E. Manny Ramirez c/o boston red sox). If you send it w/ a self-addressed stamped (box?) they would probably sign it and send it back.|||So, can you send a baseball to the stadium in general to get autographed by the whole team, or well, just everyone that will be willing to sign it?

|||Look, I'm a player and we have the busiest schedule on earth. We will sit down though for hours when we can and sign the fanmail. The more popular the player, the more fanmail. It could literally be thousands of items per day for some players. We get everything and we'll sign anything, so yes, a baseball is common. Make sure it has a return envelope included in the package, if not, it's not coming back. Also, children's writing gets first attention. If we keep seeing the same return address and we think you are a dealer, we will stop signing that one. Short, nice letters of gratitude or the mentioning of a good game are always appreciated. Don't expect items returned soon, remember, we play 7 days a week and travel, and have families, and need to sleep. They will be returned eventually though. Thanks for supporting athletes!|||1. Write a letter.

2. Get a bubble mailer that will fit the ball.

3. Get another bubble mailer smaller than the first one but the ball will still fit inside.

4. Put enough postage on both to get to and from Fenway Park.

5. Send it out.

Bubble mailers are the best for baseballs. There needs to be enough postage on the larger bubble mailer to get to Fenway, and enough on the SASE to get from Fenway.

The Boston Red Sox do allow fan mail. And in the note, ask the person to sweet spot it.

Good luck! Check your email!|||baseballs would be kind of tough. You could try to get a baseball card, or a photo of the player/team signed. Just write a really nice letter to the Red Sox, telling them that your a fan, etc. And then at the end of the letter ask them if they could sign the pic. to you. You should suggest who you would want to sign it because they obviously arent all going to sign it. Good luck, And heres the mailing address:

Boston Red Sox

Fenway Park

4 Yawkey Way

Boston, MA 02215|||Step 1: Contact the Red Sox and verify that they will allow players to receive items like that. Address the package accordingly:

Ex. Kevin Youkilis

c/o Boston Red Sox

Fenway Park

4 Yawkey Way

Boston, MA 02215

Step 2: Go to the Post Office and get postage. You will need to provide a return package for your item.

Step 3: Send of your item..(I've had better lucck sending it to the stadium)

Step 4: Wait..This could take a long time...I once received an item back 5 years after I sent it|||Write to the team. Their address should be on their website at mlb.com. Other than that you can always go to the ballpark and hang out by the dugout before games. The Red Sox are good about allowing fans without tickets to linger by the dugouts before the game starts.|||Ive heard of baseball cards getting autographs through the mail but never baseballs you might have to get that in person.
