What is the coefficient of restitution of a baseball hitting a baseball player?
I found that a 100mph baseball hitting a granite wall is ~0.45. I assume that a baseball striking a players upper back is lower but can't find anything on the internet. Anyone? Thanks.|||It probably has never been measured. I would assume that it would be close to 0. A baseball wouldn't bounce very well off of a body.
